Happy new year everyone! I've recorded the musical tracks for the album so now it's time to go really deep into the part of writing lyrics. Hoping to put down the vocals on the tracks later this month.

2011-11-05 What's up - another album in progress
It's been a while but now I'm in the middle of writing NEW songs for another album, planned for an early release 2012. So far I've written six songs, and the drums and guitars have been recorded. The plan is to have another three songs recorded soon together with a cover of the Black Sabbath song "I" from the 'Dehumanizer' album released 1992 by the classical Heaven and Hell line-up with Dio on vocals.
2011-08-02 The first song of the Tribute project
And so I've started another project this summer, it's going to consist a whole bunch of songs that have inspired me throughout the years and the first one out is a version of the KISS classic "Detroit Rock City" - where my singing got inspired of the 1980 Sydney show in Australia, where Paul Stanly sings in another melody different to the original version on the original recording - love it a lot!

2011-04-08 The album
The album got completed with another great song, and it's going to be the title track called "A Man Apart". It's a slow and heavy song about all the hard decisions you have to make in your life - almost impossible at some times, and when they're done you feel like you're almost breaking apart, falling to pieces.
The album now has eleven songs, and I'm beginning the vocal sessions this weekend, and hoping for a final release later this april.
2011-03-21 Songs growing
In the middle of recording guitar solos on some songs and soon I'll begin with the vocals for each song. The final track list will be posted soon, it all ended up in ten great tunes, soon viable for you via this page.
2011-01-14 Some New Songtitles
Nine songs completed, all the bases for the tracks are now recorded and I'm still working with the lyrics for some of them. Here's a couple of titles revealed; 'The Hit Of the Hammer', 'Unbreakable', 'Long Cold Winter', 'Mirrors', 'Walking the Line', 'Illusion' and 'Danger'. The last one is a cover taken from the classic 1982 KISS album "Creatures Of the Night", but I felt it would fit in perfectly in the whole concept.
Soon I will return into the studio for the vocal dubs and guitarsolos. Then a cuple of days mixing it and do a pre-master, listening and then finally release it here at www.JohanDarius.com.
2011-01-06 Recordings
During December I've wrote and recorded seven songs so far and I've got two more to go, so there'll be nine songs finally to be released hopefully in March. Drums, bass and guitars have been recorded and now I'm working on the lyrics for some of them together with the structure for the two final tracks. By the way, Happy New Year everyone!
2010-12-08 Updates!
Made some final updates to the site; now there's a lot of music from the archives to be found here >>> or below in the Latest Music Posted-section. Not everything recorded by me but some selected pieces from each year beginning by the year of 2000 and forward. Enjoy.

2010-12-02 A christmas song
Yesterday I finalized a new song in Swedish called "Se På Ditt Barn", a song that I hope will be featured in the Swedish Radio program 'Skaraborgstoppen'; it's a listing of four songs once a week that the listeners can participate by voting for their favourite. It can also be found here and at my www.MySpace.com page.
2010-11-15 New songs about to be recorded
More songs are being planned. Now I've got five new songs, and five more are about to be done, getting ready for the studio. Check out www.JohanDarius.com soon.
I'm also working on the re-design of the logo for my name, but it's still on the drawing desk. Will get back on that later on.
2010-11-01 New website launched
November the 1st the new www.JohanDarius.com website were launched; re-designed into a page containing all features at one place, so you will get the music, videos and the latest news right up into your face.
I'm also writing new material for a final release early in 2011, new tracks are going to be recorded in December/January as planned, all along with my work with the band Wayback (see www.Waybacklive.se for more info about that band). I've wrote some material for that band too and we are now working on it during the fall, with plans of recording it the next year.
Meanwhile, listen to some clips of those songs for the Wayback band, and some other older tunes of Johan Darius from a project released last year called "Not For the Innocent", and some other demos that made the surface.
